
The Fine Arts School (FAS) at First Presbyterian Church provides artistic excellence in a Christian environment. Program
Our current program includes two semesters, Fall and Spring. Each semester is 15 weeks unless otherwise noted.
Registration
Registration for class instruction is conducted prior to each semester.
A $20 deposit per student is required at the time of enrollment. This is nonrefudable and will be applied toward class fees. A completed enrollment form with deposit is necessary to reserve space in a particular class.
Class tuition is payable by the semester, and may be made in installments. One third of all tuition and materials fees is due by first class day. Remaining two-thirds payments are due in equal amounts five weeks into the semester and ten weeks into the semester. Suzuki and piano lesson tuition may be paid by the semester or monthly.
Payment coupons with due dates are available to assist you. A $10 late fee will be assesed.

Art for Adults
Art 101
For beginning students. Learn basic art principles and experience a variety of mediums in a non-threatening atmosphere! A 90 minute class.

For students who have completed at least one year of Art 101, or new students with some art experience. A 90 minute class.

Art for Children
Kinderart
For preschoolers and kindergartners ages 4-6. Welcome your child to color, textures, shapes and a variety of art experiences!

1st and 2nd grade and all day kindergartners. Learn basic art principles and some art history using a variety of materials.

MUSIKGARTEN MUSIC & MOVEMENT
Music immerses the child in language, evokes movement, stimulates the brain, fosters physical coordination, and develops listening skills.
Family Music for Toddlers –
Ages 16 months-3 years
Sing, dance, play instruments and develop skills in listening and taking turns. Each child comes with a parent or caregiver who is ready to share music with your child in a special way.

Cycles of Seasons – Wind Dancers – Ages 2 1/2- 4 years
Sing, dance, explore instruments and how they create sound, improve listening skills, develop language and encourage creativity with music and stories. Parent or caregiver will be invited to join us for the last 10 minutes of each class.

Music Makers at Home – Ages 4-6
Features singing, creative and structured movement, coordination of body and voice, first steps in reading music, songs and sounds from the world of nature, introduction to orchestral instruments and ensemble play.

Music Makers at the Keyboard I – Ages 6-8
Beginning keyboard class uses singing, dancing, drumming and other activities to reinforce musical concepts at the keyboard. Emphasis on connecting listening skills to playing skills.

Piano Lessons
Half-hour lessons are given for all beginning students. 15 individual lessons and 4 group classes.

SUZUKI VIOLIN
Students may begin as early as age 4. Parents are an integral part of the Suzuki method. Listening, repertoire, indivdualized instruction, group sessions, and performance are all key elements in the Suzuki experience.

Tuition for violin includes:
• 16 weekly lessons
• play-ins
• pre-twinkle parent education
• outreach concerts
• community concerts
• recital rehearsals

*offered to 4,5, & 6 year old pre-twinkle beginners through book 1 (or as teacher recommends)
*additional fees include: violin rental or purchase, Suzuki music books and listening tapes, lesson notebook, occasional accompanist fee, Your teachers will advise you and answer your questions when you are contacted about scheduling lessons.
