All of our caregivers are trained in proper health and hygiene guidelines when caring for the children in the First Presbyterian Nursery Department. We use disposable gloves when changing diapers and always wash our hands after removing our gloves.
This will be our responsibility to keep our children healthy. We will work in tandem with the parents to help prevent the spread of disease in the Nursery rooms.
To further protect the health of your child, all the children we serve and our Caregivers, please be considerate of the other families and use the following guidelines:
The Caregivers cannot accept children who have had any of the following symptoms within the past 36 hours.
- Fever
- Colored nasal discharge
- Conjunctivitis ("pink eye")
- Eye or ear discharge
- Vomiting or diarrhea
- Skin infections
- Chronic cough or sore throat
- Cold sores around the mouth
- Impetigo
