Primetimers exist to provide members an opportunity to socialize, to act as a support group to one another, and to recognize opportunities for service in the church as well as the community.
The Primetimers Ministry includes fellowship, day trips, extended trips, inter-generational activities and outreach ministry opportunities throughout the year.

Tuesday December 3rd Stephen Ministers’ Christmas Party
Tuesday December 3rd Reservations due for PrimeTimers Christmas Party. A check for $15 per person must accompany your reservation.
Thursday December 5th Angels’ Food Pickup, 2:00-3:30 West of Lynn Hall, down by the gym.
Thursday December 5th Reservations for the combined Ladies’ and Men’s lunch which will be held on December 10th are due with a $5 check for each person. Details of the special combined lunch will be provided to you at the time you make your reservations. is combined lunch is aimed especially for those who usually attend the monthly lunch out at various restaurants. Please enjoy our usual fellowship time in this different way! Contact Susie ASAP to insure your place at the fellowship table!
Friday December 6th PrimeTimers’ Christmas Party in Lynn Hall. Reservations are required, please see notice on December 3rd. Also, each one who wants to participate in the gift exchange should bring a White Elephant gift in a bag. The traditional White Elephant gift swap will be held. Appetizers and desserts, provided by volunteers (call Susie if you’d like to help) will be served at 5:30 PM, and Angelo will prepare an elegant dinner to be served about 6 PM.
Friday, Saturday, and Sunday December 6,7,8 the CDC will be preparing for their Bake Sale which will occur on Sunday. This fund raiser will help with FPC’s CDC and they welcome both your help with goodies to sell as well as your purchases on Sunday December 8th. Wednesday December 11th Prime Timers’ Mission Project, 2 PM. We will be getting prayer bears ready as well as benevolence packages put together. If you can spare an hour, please come help. Then stay for the movie and popcorn!
Wednesday December 11th, Movie and Popcorn at 3 PM in the parlor. Special Feature: 'The Christmas Shoes'. This film was inspired by the #1 hit song and best-selling book by the same name. Thursday December 12th Fellowship, Crafts, and Lunch in the Koinonia Room, 10 AM to 2 PM. Joyce Watts will continue her lessons on various jewelry techniques. Those who like to
scrapbook work at the same time. All types of hobbies and crafting are welcome as are all ages! Just come and see what others are doing, or just come for friendly visiting! Some bring a sack lunch, others usually order out (Dutch treat). We will be choosing a different restaurant for orders while Wall Street Bar and Grill is in the midst of downtown construction. Everyone is welcome!

Monday December 16th PrimeTimers’ Christmas lights tour. If there is enough interest, the PrimeTimers will meet for refreshments at 5:30 PM and leave for the local Christmas light tour about 6 PM. Thursday December 19th Angels planning session
Saturday December 21st PrimeTimers’ Day Trip on December 21st (Winter Solstice) to Paint Rock, TX. this trip will include a stop after the noon solstice event for lunch at a renowned Steak House in Lowake. There is some walking involved in reaching the rock paintings. Reservations due on the 11th, please. Bus will leave the church at 6:30 AM., and we will plan to be back in town by late aernoon. There is no charge at the site that special day. You will need money only for your lunch. is trip is open for PrimeTimers as well as other interested persons so be sure to reserve your spot a.s.a.p.!

Wednesday December 25th There will be a covered dish lunch on Christmas Day open to anyone who is alone or has few family members to enjoy a Christmas meal with. This is
open to anyone (and that includes their few family members) so think about those whom you might know who would enjoy some friendly fellowship and good food at noontime on
Christmas Day. All they need to do is bring a favorite dish to share, or, if that’s more than they can manage, just have them come . We’ll have plenty of fixings to share! This will be in the Koinonia Room starting about 11 with our meal to be ready by noon. For more information contact Susie at 684 7821.
The church offices will be closed December 24, 25, 26 for Christmas.

Primetimers Service Opportunities
In Touch Ministry
Volunteers assemble items to take to the homebound and the hospitalized. They arrange and make visits on a regular basis.
Angels in Aprons
A Prayer Bear is a tangible way for people who are hurting to be reminded that the church cares and is praying for them. The Prayer Bears are dressed monthly and placed in baskets throughout the church.
St Andrews Mission Hygiene Kits
The Primetimers collect hygiene items such as, toothpaste and toothbushes, comb, shampoo and soap. These items are placed in bags and taken to St. Andrews Mission to be distributed.
