Food Pantry

Members of FPC are requested to bring canned and dry good staples to worship on the first Sunday of each month. Deacons take the food from First Presbyterian to the St. Andrews Presbyterian Mission.

Share-a-Meal and Meals on Wheels

A deacon acts as the liaison between FPC and the Meals on Wheels Program. Both of these programs are administered by Community & Senior Services of Midland to provide meals to elderly and disabled citizens daily and on the weekends. Community volunteers are used for delivery. Through the Presbyterian Womenís circles and the Deacons, FPC has assisted regularly with these deliveries.

Opportunity: Volunteer delivery personnel is most welcome. Bright, cheery personalities are helpful. This is the only contact with the outside world that many of the recipients have. Contributions to the Community & Senior Services & prayers are always welcome.
