Our world is full of people and circumstances that would distract or dissuade us from pursuing the calling we suspect God may have placed on our lives. Join us as our Mayor, Lori Blong, reflects on lessons she’s learned from Nehemiah about how to first discern God’s calling and then stand firm in the conviction of the task before her. 

As women, we all experience the uncertainty of shame and sorrow, distraction and dissuasion. But God would have us to step forward in strength, to lead from our greatest available point of influence.
